Camping and Hiking blog tips for beginners

At Lynx Hunt, we love camping and hiking and it’s amazing to know that camping and hiking are more popular than ever. With right gears and tools, holidays with friends and family can be very cheap and affordable. If any of you are new to camping, then this article will be useful to help create a successful camping experience.

Camping is not difficult, it’s surely not astrophysics, but for those beginning out, everything seems like impossible. It take a lot of efforts to leave the sympathy of our lives and jump into the unknown.

What you should take on camping trip depends on what kind of camping trip you plan to going on, be that campsite camping, festival camping, wild camping or hiking anywhere you need good gear and equipment.

Camping Tent

Three-season tents are good for almost any time of year, but winter. Four-season              tents are made of more durable fabric and can resist snow storms, stronger winds,            and heavy rain. It’s a good idea to use a footprint beneath the tent to block out water.

    Sleeping Bag

    • Sleeping bags, Sleeping pads come in different sizes and different styles. Usually, the colder the temperature, the bigger your sleeping bag or pad is going to be, so before going on a camping trip look up what weather to expect. A lot of people prefer to use a sleeping pad to feel more comfortable and keep themselves warmer because they’re insulated from the ground.

     

    Flashlight

    • Flashlights, lanterns, and headlamps are super useful for camping, they’re great if you’re walking in the dark or you need to move around your campsite during the night.

     

    Water Purification

    • Water filtration system is the safest way to have drinkable water while camping is to get a water filtration system, generally a good filtration system will be a better choice if you can carry it.
      But, it’s a good idea to bring as much water as you need at the beginning of your trip especially if you go camping with a car.

    Other useful things that are often needed while camping are a First Aid Kit, whistle, multi-tools, backpacks, camping stove, fire starter, pots, pans, bowls, cups, coffee maker,  bags and other stuff which you can find easily online or in store.
